Colorguard, Percussion, and WInds in the San Joaquin Valley
The San Joaquin Valley Color Guard & Percussion Review (SJVCGPR) is one of California's oldest competitive circuits (1982) in the areas of Color guard, Marching Percussion and Concert Percussion ensembles. The philosophy of SJVCGPR is to provide an educationally based competitive circuit in which students have the opportunity to perform.
The purpose of SJVCGPR is to create a performing environment for local color guard and percussion units. We maintain that we want to give all our local groups equal opportunity to achieve at the highest level possible. However, we also realize that the indoor activity has blossomed on the national stage and we want to service our local groups on this front as well. Although SJVCGPR is an independent performing circuit, it is our goal help color guard and percussion units become competitive members of Winter Guard International (WGI).
